The PSM GmbH is German Pharma CDMO ( Contract Development Manufacturing Organization) based in Schiffweiler / Saarland. Our services include API manufacturing, product and process development and small to mid-size aseptic GMP fill & finish services.
Our scalable machine technologies enable us to be highly flexible and agile for both, clinical and commercial product supply and to react and adapt to our customer needs and requirements easily. Within around 3500 square meters of cleanrooms, labs and office space, we offer a capacity of around 15 million containers annually. We are equipped with latest state-of-the art technologies from industry leading suppliers – SKAN, groninger, Körber Pharma (formerly Seidenader and Dividella), Herma, Martin Christ and Fedegari. These technologies enable us already today to meet the requirements of the new EU GMP Annex 1.
PSM GmbH processes clinical samples, small and medium-sized batches from one container up to 200 liters filled in glass or polymer vials, syringes and cartridges. Additionally, we offer freeze drying processes for vials in development but also commercial production.
By using the latest aseptic filling systems, innovative isolator technology and the corresponding systems for secondary packaging, we are setting new quality standards in contract manufacturing. With our focus on Pharma 4.0, paperless production with real-time monitoring, PSM GmbH is becoming one of the most modern pharma CDMO for liquid and freeze-dried medicines.
All processes and technologies are designed to ensure maximum product yield when processing drug product especially in den field of ADCs, ATMPs, Cell & Gene or other specialized drugs. Furthermore, the buildings and cleanrooms are set up for toxic drug product up to OEB 5. Our analytical services are executed in-house to offer the greatest flexibility and fastest reactions times to our clients. Our in-house GMP storage (including cold storage) and GDP transport complete our service portfolio.

1960: The Trennheuser family acquires the Viktoria Apotheke in Saarbrücken.
1997: The Viktoria Apotheke begins under the direction of Dr. Fritz Trennheuser with the manufacturing of sterile formulations. The business segment will be continuously expanded in the coming years with great commitment.
2007
Topmedicare GmbH
2010: Topmedicare acquisition into a group of companies with Viktoria Apotheke. In addition, Topmedicare takes over the distribution of Trennheuser Cosmetics.
2016: Contract manufacturing
Topmedicare in Saarbrücken is a contract manufacturer according to § 13 AMG for the manufacturing of sterile products for IMPs and small batches as well as non-sterile medicinal products and clinical investigational medicinal products according to the highest quality criteria of the GMP. From the synergies between the manufacturing company and pharmaceutical competence acquired over decades, joint products are optimally implemented.
