Apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician
YOUR TASKS:
- Conducting analyses and quality control
- Independent execution of syntheses, metrological tasks, and planning of workflows in laboratories
- Preparation of GMP-compliant protocols, evaluation of results, and documentation according to established guidelines
- Production of organic and inorganic compounds
- Operation of equipment, data collection, processing, and documentation using computer systems, as well as taking responsibility for equipment
- Development and optimization of analysis methods, manufacturing processes, and production regulations for compounds
- Compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines in all areas of responsibility
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed general university entrance qualification (Abitur), intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife), or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of chemistry and mathematics, as well as an interest in the natural sciences.
- High level of quality awareness and understanding of quality standards.
- Very focused, meticulous, and structured working approach.
- Strong sense of reliability and responsibility, especially when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Enjoyment in working with computers and technical devices, along with a good technical understanding.
- Perfect color vision and a good sense of smell.
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Good proficiency in German, both spoken and written.

Dual study program
YOUR TASKS:
- Learning and implementing the requirements for safe and sterile pharmaceutical production, as well as the measures to ensure product quality.
- Practice-oriented development of study content through accompanying projects and practical work.
- Gaining experience in and familiarization with a pharmaceutical training and standard operating procedure (SOP) system alongside studies.
- Applying study content with the opportunity to ask questions in a real-world practice environment.Compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations in all areas of responsibility.
- Operation of equipment, data collection, processing, and documentation using computer systems.
- Conducting analyses and quality control.Preparation and planning of GMP-compliant protocols, evaluation of results, and documentation according to established guidelines.
- Introduction to production processes for the manufacturing of active ingredients and sterile finished products.
