The PDA (Parenteral Drug Association) has 25 chapters around the world, with local programmes and resources to help stay informed, connect with peers and influence the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. Through global regulatory harmonisation efforts, new manufacturing strategies and technologies, and new modalities, the PDA’s major goal is to cure diseases rather than treat them.
“The PDA D/A/CH now introduces Thorsten Häfner (PSM) as the new Chairman for its recently established organisational representation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Thorsten Haefner will lead this very important committee, whose main task is to connect our members and facilitate the exchange between industry peers. Thorsten has been a long-standing member of PDA and a valuable speaker over the years. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry several years ago at a German fill and finish company. Over the past few years, Thorsten has led Business Development and Product Management, and was responsible for robotics in pharma, human-free aseptic processes, and the development of Annex 1 compliant fill and finish equipment. In 2022, he started a new chapter in his professional career by taking on the role of VP of Business Development and Authorized Officer at the German CDMO PSM GmbH.”
